I’m Richard “Richie” Burgher, founder of Soul e Sabor — a global event and retreat brand shaped by culture, creativity, and a lifelong devotion to exceptional guest experiences.
My journey began in Toronto, Canada, where I built my foundation in the arts and entertainment industry as a professional dancer and actor. Performing with the Toronto Raptors Dance Team and appearing on Degrassi High taught me the power of storytelling, movement, and emotional connection — elements that continue to influence my work today.
My path expanded across New York City and Atlanta, where I immersed myself in visual arts, event marketing, and live entertainment. Over more than 15 years, I executed large-scale activations for world‑renowned brands and high‑profile productions — from Nike, Coca‑Cola, BMW, and Victoria’s Secret to live events featuring artists like Beyoncé and Kanye West. These experiences sharpened my eye for detail, elevated my standards, and shaped my belief that every event should feel intentional, immersive, and unforgettable.
Alongside my creative career, I spent several years as international cabin crew, refining my approach to luxury hospitality, service excellence, and cultural fluency. Traveling the world deepened my understanding of how people gather, celebrate, and connect across cultures — insights that now guide the way I design retreats, corporate experiences, and destination events.
